Product Description

CARPROVET 5% is a sterile injectable non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) containing 50 mg of Carprofen per ml. It is indicated for the control of postoperative pain and inflammation associated with soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries in dogs and cats. Its potent formula provides reliable analgesia, helping pets recover comfortably. However, due to its specific pharmacokinetic profile, especially in felines, this medication requires high precision in dosing and professional veterinary administration.

Contraindications & Precautions

• In Cats: Due to long half-life and narrow therapeutic index, strict adherence to recommended dosage is required. Do not repeat the dose in cats.๑๑๑๑๑
• Use of a 1 ml syringe is highly recommended to ensure accurate dosing.
• Do not follow an intravenous injection of Carprofen with oral Carprofen tablets.
