The FPV Ag Test Kit is a rapid diagnostic tool designed for the qualitative detection of Feline Parvovirus antigen (also known as Feline Panleukopenia) in cat feces or vomitus. This viral infection is highly contagious and life-threatening, particularly in kittens and unvaccinated cats, leading to severe gastrointestinal distress and a drastic drop in white blood cell counts. Utilizing lateral flow immunochromatography, this kit provides accurate and easy-to-read results within 5-10 minutes. Early detection is vital for the survival of the infected cat and for preventing the spread of the virus within multi-cat environments or catteries.

Indications

Used to detect FPV antigen in feline fecal or vomit samples for cats exhibiting signs of lethargy, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Usage

1. Collect a fecal sample using the provided swab.
2. Mix the swab thoroughly into the assay buffer tube.
3. Apply 3-4 drops into the sample well of the test device.
4. Read the results at 5-10 minutes.
