XYLINGUARD is a potent sedative, analgesic, and muscle relaxant containing Xylazine (Alpha-2 Adrenergic Agonist). It is widely used in veterinary clinical practice for sedation during minor procedures or as a pre-anesthetic agent to ensure a smooth induction of general anesthesia. Xylazine induces a state of calm by depressing the central nervous system and provides significant muscle relaxation. Contraindications & Precautions

• DO NOT USE in puppies/kittens under 6 weeks or late-term pregnant animals.
• Brachycephalic breeds are at high risk of fatal respiratory distress.
• CONTRAINDICATED in animals with diabetes, liver/kidney failure, heart disease, hypotension, or shock.
• DO NOT USE in cases of esophageal obstruction or gastric torsion.
• Not suitable for upper GI radiography as it slows motility and increases stomach gas.
